Natalia nodded, picking up the small tinted bottle and tipping the lip into the spoon. She glanced at Yuri to see if that's what he meant...and inadvertently kept pouring, the vanilla spilling over the edges and dribbling into the mixing bowl.
At least it wouldn't hurt the overall taste.
"Do you mean that?" she beamed, glowing with pride at his praise. "I must admit, you're more supportive than the others." With the exception of Tear and Asch, no one seemed to have much faith in her cooking skills. Even Asch told her not to worry about it altogether, and that he'd simply do it for her. It felt good to be doing this on her own. She was truly learning something new!
Natalia looked back at the bottle, surprised to find that it was empty. "Oh, I suppose we've run out of vanilla. My, but that does smell heavenly, doesn't it?" she smiled down at the mixing bowl, picking up the spoon to give it all a good stir. It wasn't a disaster yet, at least.
