[It's the 23rd of December, and, as promised, Kuppa Cupo has opened its doors for the first (and hopefully not last) Christmas/Starlight party!]

[The entire restaurant is decorated for the season, complete with a large tree near the entrance. The ceiling is covered in lights, and the tables all have matching red and green tablecloths. Near the wall, the catering table is packed with food.]

[Even the helper moogles are taking part in the festivities, with many of them wearing elf or santa costumes. Whether you came early to help set up, or arrived fashionably late, enjoy!]

[Selphie sidles right up to Cloud and smiles sweetly at him.]

Santa? Do I get my rocket launcher now? I've been a good girl.

[Cloud leans back a bit, peering suspiciously at Selphie over the rise of his fluffy beard and moustache. He's not so sure she's being absolutely truthful here.]

Like I said, I can't make promises about the rocket launcher, but I promise you'll enjoy the gift you get.

[It's certainly in his power, but he's concerned about what she'll do with it afterwards to get herself on the Naughty list.]

[Considering that Cloud was one of the people that Selphie lovingly glitter bombed a couple of weeks ago, he has every right to be suspicious. Honestly though, she's totally intending on firing any and all rockets she may or may not receive at the bad guys.]

Oh? So...

[She goes right up to Cloud and asks for something in a very quiet tone.]

I don't suppose you can reverse Crystal Stasis?

[She gives Cloud a brilliant sunny smile after she asks that question.]

Ah, you don't need to worry about that. It's silly.

[Can you tell that someone is missing her friends, Cloud?]

I think a rocket launcher sounds dangerous. I read what it can do in certain books in the library.

[ Mikleo mused a he approached the twosome with a handful of tablecloths and other Christmas Decorations. He smiled at Selphie though at the last question. It's not uncommon to miss friends. He also knew how that felt ]

I haven't seen you in a while, Cloud. Thank you for being here and helping the Cafe out. Selphie, would you mind helping me set the table cloths on all the table in the mean time?

[Cloud's voice catches in his throat at Selphie's second wish. He knows full well it's not in his power to grant. Thankfully Mileo's appearance rants him a moment to collect himself.]

It's no problem. I'm happy to be here. And Selphie, I'm sorry, you know I'd do that if I could. I'm glad you two are here though.

But Mikleo is right, I'm a little concerned about who would be at the receiving end of your rockets. Even if they are an enemy.

Bah, fuddy duddies! Also apologies for the late tag...

[Selphie can wish even if she knows it's impossible. She nods slightly before she gives both Cloud and Mikleo a slightly sour look before sighing in resignation.]

Well, it was worth a shot. On both counts but thanks for humouring me.

But still, you two are no fun and now we have to have extra fun because of it. Let's get these table cloths out and then we can help Cloud unload his bag of tricks.

[ Poor Cloud really. Of course, Mikleo is the reasonable type of Seraph no matter the circumstances. Selphie can be a bit of a handful but he knows she always means well. He doesn't budge from his resolve even if Selphie gives him a sour look. ]

Please be careful of what you wish for Selphie. Sometimes they may not be the way you want it to be. I would rather not have you injured above all else. See, even Cloud is agrees-- oh right. We should.
