The Most Wonderful Party of the Year

[It's the 23rd of December, and, as promised, Kuppa Cupo has opened its doors for the first (and hopefully not last) Christmas/Starlight party!]

[The entire restaurant is decorated for the season, complete with a large tree near the entrance. The ceiling is covered in lights, and the tables all have matching red and green tablecloths. Near the wall, the catering table is packed with food.]

[Even the helper moogles are taking part in the festivities, with many of them wearing elf or santa costumes. Whether you came early to help set up, or arrived fashionably late, enjoy!]

[Yuri might have noticed that there are a couple things that Selphie's relented on since they started living together. Getting alcohol out of the big brother of the house was one of those things. She's not giving up hope on that rocket launcher but that probably isn't going to happen either.

You people and denying Selphie her boomsticks.]

Hmmmm... let's go with berry.

[She picked up one of the glasses and took a sip. A little bit of fizz, a bit of sweet and the tang of the berries went surprisingly well together. Selphie smiles around the lip of the glass. She examines the tray while she finishes the glass and eventually takes three of each cider off the plate.]

Well, you've been at it since early this morning so I think if anybody deserves a break right now, it's you.

[ Yuri wasn't going to give her anything that she'd make a mess out of herself on. The second thing was having a dangerous weapon like that could be stolen at any given time by some lunatic. Not all the Heroes of Light here were sane to be honest. He wasn't going to take that risk, unfortunately. ]

Berry it is.

[ He hands her the pretty looking glass with cider in them. If she looked close enough, there were small dices and spheres of fruit that he managed to carve out when he was making them. At the edge of the cup was a cutely decorated strawberry surrounded by blueberries, creating an almost pleasing aesthetic. ]

It's not a bit deal to be honest. I volunteered to do the work. No one forced me. Thanks for the concern though.

[Selphie eyes the berries on the sides of the glass curiously before she eventually plucks them off and pops the garnish into the drink itself. There was already a good chunk of berry flavour infused into the cider from the looks of it but there was nothing wrong with a little extra was there?]

In that case, I'm sitting down for a few...

[She plops into a nearby chair before sipping at the cider. She smiles around the lip of the glass before shooting Yuri and thumbs up in response before downing the rest of the drink.]

Yummy as always!

[ The swordsman was pretty amused by her reaction. It meant that his little trick worked well for those who couldn't have alcoholic beverages. He couldn't monitor them all but he was going to control what he can until well you know they get drunk off their faces. ]

Sure-- you can keep doing what you want to do.

[ He chuckled. Sometimes pleasing people like Selphie was way too easy. ]
