Summary: It's time for Cuppa Kupo's first annual Christmas Party! The party details are in an OOC post here and an IC post .

[It's the 23rd of December, and, as promised, Kuppa Cupo has opened its doors for the first (and hopefully not last) Christmas/Starlight party!]

[The entire restaurant is decorated for the season, complete with a large tree near the entrance. The ceiling is covered in lights, and the tables all have matching red and green tablecloths. Near the wall, the catering table is packed with food.]

[Even the helper moogles are taking part in the festivities, with many of them wearing elf or santa costumes. Whether you came early to help set up, or arrived fashionably late, enjoy!]

It'd be a shame for no one to recognise his efforts- K'pandolu certainly thinks the sashimi tastes good, at least. She wanders over mostly just to talk to him, and bring a delivery, rather than any suspicions though.]

[she holds out the scarf and bag of cookies she'd wrapped for him, offering a smile.]

Oh. Hey.

[K'pandolu is a welcome site for sore, golden wendigo eyes, because Dylas has been doing nothing but scratching his mane beneath his suit and fidgeting to the point where there's now a hoof mark on the wooden floor or carpet he's been standing on.

His normal scowl is lifted into an expression of surprise, mouth hanging open for a second before he remembers to shut it.]

Is this for me? You...didn't really have to go through any trouble for me, you know.

[His voice isn't as harsh as it usually sounds, at least. It is a nice gesture.]

[whoops. She doesn't envy whoever's going to try to deal with that.

She keeps smiling, ears twitched up.]

I thought it'd be nice. I hope you'll like it, in any case.

[It's such a nice gesture that he's forgetting to open it. He's still not smiling, and being a wendigo means his face doesn't really blush, but there's still signs he's thankful (or flustered) if she watches his ears or tail. That's the easiest way to ever read Dylas.]

Yeah! It's great. This is really nice. I brought fish for everyone, but that's not really the same, is it.

Good! Oh- that was your doing? It was delicious! How did you prepare it?

It's sashimi. I cut it right after making the sauce and right before bringing it over, so it's fresh.

[He holds up his hand, drawing attention to his claws.]

Turns out it's easier if I use these to carve up the fish.

Sashimi… [that's mostly to memorise it, and she nods to herself, before focusing on his claws.]
