Summary: All the Heroes of Light were formally invited to a meeting in the Castle of Aqures Ixen, in the conference room. They will be able to discuss strategy with their peers and the allies amongst the NPCs. This is the final preparation before endgame.

[ The woman tilted her head to the side to look at Sephiroth when he approached her, smiling. Of course she did remember him as well.

Albeit, not for the same reasons. ]

Indeed, Colonel. I hope all has been well.

[ She was hardly better, but a little was better than nothing. ]

[A nod gets cast at the use of his title, but that's all, he's trying not to be present here in his capacity as an official in the military. Even though if previous meetings were any precedent, it would likely result in him applying some such force in that regard, one way or the other.]

Ever at the grindstone, likewise I'm sure.

[Not that he knows hers, but his work is no secret at all so perhaps he might gain some insight by way of leverage with that as a tool.]

I imagine you're often pressed for time, being that there are so many displaced individuals with the reckoning seemingly around the corner?

Indeed.

[ She paused, looking away for a moment. ]

All I have seen share similar predicaments... They are afraid to die, of course. And yet, that very fear has made life itself a torture. Ironical, isn't it? Neither happy with life nor death.

[Ever the careful listener, Sephiroth inclines his head a little as she looks away but looks away himself before he might be caught staring. There is a fine line between being curious and rude.]

Yet, if there was neither life nor death there would be no logic behind happiness, no reason behind fear.

[Everything would become nothing. He shakes his head then also casts a look over the distance between them and others in the room, looking for a distraction or something else to try and pull a conversation out of.]

Has the time come to unveil your grand theory, of how to solve all of this?

Indeed. But maybe there would be something else...? Something that is inconcevable to minds as simple as ours.

[ Something only a God could conceive. ]

I am afraid not. Should I do it now, chaos would ensue and ah. Looking at our friends, I believe we already have too much chaos to deal with. Once the chaos is dead, then perhaps I shall share my thoughts.

[He's heard something similar to this train of thought before and he knows it, it bugs at buried memories but it was so long ago it's just going to make him ponder on it for the rest of the meeting if Sephiroth chews at it too hard. Besides it'll just lead to considering personal knowledge he doesn't yet know enough of to say, and he's trying to keep all those depreciating thoughts away.]

Judging by how things have gone until now, I imagine chaos might well have a full reign before order returns to balance it out.

[Blink. Blink. Damn that wasn't meant to sound so deep but there it is. When did he become so philosophical anyway? Sephiroth wants to push her further but the fact they're hardly acquaintances doesn't leave him many tools in terms of social conventions.]

That's a shame, truly.

Then surely it is our task to eradicate the chaos and let place to order.

[ She shook her head and took a glass from a passing servant. ]

I hope you will be ready to play your part in accomplishing this, as I shall be ready to play mine.

[Politely Sephiroth raises an open palm to deny the offered drink from the same tray as it passes. He might take a water the next time it comes around but for now it feels like it might be only a distraction.]

Whatever part that may be; it'll be less than what I would like for it to be.
