There was so much she wanted to ask, about these starships which sounded completely glorious, whether 'solar' system meant what she thought it did, what being an officer involved... But if she did, she'd miss the main point, which was getting to know more about Sparks and his adventures. The other things she could set aside for now, or even make up on the fly if necessary, so long as the heart of the story remained the same.
