Jaune's eyebrow's furrowed a few times, trying to make sense of what she had just said when there was none to be had. "I don't understand. Shouldn't they call you by your name? ...Your name is Mary, right?" He pauses. "Or was it because you're a woman?" Wasn't that a big no-no when it came to pirates? Jaune doesn't know much beyond the stories.

"Also, why would you become captain if you didn't want to be the center of attention? Doesn't being captain kind of mean everyone looks to you to lead them?"
