"Oh, I see." In Cloud's case it had to do with the confirmation, though his world worked on slightly different rules than the one Rukia's was from, but things were probably the same at certain levels.

His eyes followed the movement of her swordarm, watching it with curiosity, perhaps trying to see if there was anything beyond the physical going on. Maybe it was just a little overeagerness there.

"Maybe...in my world there's talk about the lifestream. Kinda like this world but, maybe not considering. All life comes from the Planet and returns to the Planet. That's what they say. There's still people who talk about Heaven and I don't think they're wrong but maybe it's all different and the same at the same time."

He sighed and shook his head, "I'm sorry." Turning a bit he gestured back at the statues of those from Gaia. "Zack...not my chocobo here, but my best friend from back home...I know he dies protecting me at some point in my future. I know..." He glanced at Aerith's statue. "It doesn't matter what I know. I guess what I want to know is if there's any way to know what happens to them after." The Other Cloud's memories and thoughts about them had him seeing them after their deaths, but it was hard to say if it was real or just his heart talking to him. Or perhaps both.
