In the Dark of the Night
Who: Anise and CR!
What: Anise acts incredibly suspicious for a week and finally decides to confront her calamity self.
Where: Palitutu's lab!
When: February 25th through March 1st, and the night of the 2nd.
Warnings: This one's gonna end in a fight. Also, endgame spoilers for Tales of the Abyss.
February 25th - March 1st
[Anise is treating the last week of February as usual, but anybody who runs into her will notice a dramatic change in her demeanor. She's acting much more deflated than her usual, energetic self, and is spending most of her free time staring off into space.
Be it at home, around town, or even when she's in Cuppa Kupo, she doesn't really seem all there. Anybody who presses will notice that she's more irate and snappy than usual, and is definitely hiding something.
Anybody wanna try to get it out of her?]
March 2nd, Midnightish
When the whole Calamity self thing started, Anise wasn't jumping for joy, but she wasn't particularly scared, either. She figured she'd do hers early, get it out of the way, and move on.
Anise began to change her mind as she watched her friends face their calamity selves. Even though the calamity selves hadn't seemed daunting at first, the implications of having your darkest shared to everyone you knew dawned on her. She didn't know what her shadow self would say, and she didn't want to know. Every so often she'd stop to think about it, and her stomach would twist up into knots, and she'd stop and do something else.
Without realizing it, she'd been putting it off, hoping that the whole thing would solve itself. Unfortunately, it didn't tend to work like that, and as February wore on she realized that she'd have to get it over with sooner or later.
She still wasn't comfortable having an audience, which shouldn't have mattered anyway, because it wasn't like the shadow thing could be that hard.
In true rebellious teenager fashion, on the night of March 2nd, she opened her window, snuck out of B-14, and headed down to Palitutu's lab. Thankfully, there were still a few moogles around, but they didn't seem particularly keen to let her summon the shadow by herself.
"C'mon, what's the problem!? Just do the stupid thing with the crystal so we can get this over with!"
