Sephiroth hadn't stepped so far forwards within the group that came upon the floating platform in the perpetual void, yet already as soon as there were room Masamune had cut the darkness as the great sword had been unsheathed and now was poised with the sharp edge outwards all along the backside of his left arm; the curved point extending just short of a foot passed his head.

It had been the others, most pointedly Ramza's last, that had stirred words that needed to be said. It was only as Sephiroth's deep tones spoke them that actually, he found himself feeling a great deal stronger in his conviction than he often thought about.
