Mikleo didn't find the whole situation helpful at all. On one part he was against all of this but the other part, he could relate to why Garland wanted to fight them. He was trying to preserve something that would keep the world moving and alive. There was no doubt that they didn't know what would happen after they defeat the Calamity much less stopping the cycle. He squeezed his staff briefly as listened to everyone else speak. It was just as they said. They had to do something. They couldn't sit here and wait for everything to be fixed or let the cycle continue.

"If there is a sliver of hope that we can overcome this ordeal, then I want to take it. Just because the cycle is inevitable doesn't mean it will always be inevitable. We can't be scared because many have failed before but I understand why you must do what you must, Garland. You are a ruler who need protect his subjects. However, I am the same.
