I'm sorry about the most obnoxious limit break in the entire world.

Akane's breath came in short, wet gasps. Sometimes a strangled sound came from her throat as her jaw hung open, her eyes squeezed shut from the terrible pain of what felt like a thousand jagged rocks jutting into her soft muscles and organs. Her skin was stretched in some places and sagging in others, and one of her legs twisted the wrong way. She was in a horrific state of consciousness.

"...ah......kkh.........a-ah......."

She made no effort to resist as Tear cradled her gently in her arms, but some part of her felt a tiny spark of comfort. Tears leaked from the corners of her eyes, rolling down her cheeks and dribbling off of her chin to spatter onto her blood-soaked robes. Akane was unaware that her brother had turned himself into snark confetti, or that Tear was working to put him back together again. She was alive, thanks to Minato, but barely clinging to that life.

On another part of the battlefield, a little white rabbit had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, without fanfare, without puffs of smoke, without flashes of light. It was just there, sitting up on its hind legs, wearing an adorable little red Chinese jacket and a matching elaborate hat on its head that bent down its long silky ears.

"It looks like somebunny's in tuh-rou-bllllleeeee!" it sang out in an obnoxiously pitched voice, spreading its front paws wide as its eyes rolled skyward. "Allow me to introduce myself! I! Am Zero the Third!"

He swept an elaborate bow, ears flopping forward to skim the ground.

As it sat up straight again, it looked around the battlefield as if seeing it for the first time. "Oh dear, oh me, oh my, tsktsktsktsktsk! Just look at this mess. Didn't anyone ever tell you to pick on someone your own size! Or are you just...horny...for murder? Eehee...eehee! Eeheeheeheeheehee! Get it?"

Clearly Chaos didn't get it.

"...Everyone's a critic. Then enough chit-chat, let's get on with the show! I'm afraid you've been a very naughty eldritch abomination. And for that, you have to be...PUN-ished! I'm sure you know what happens next, don't you? ...No? Well...why don't you just...take a STAB at it? Teeheeheehee!" the rabbit giggled against its diminutive paw. "Go ahead and guess what I'm going to do to you! I'll give you until the count..." His nose wiggled as his buck teeth were bared in a wicked little rabbit smile. "...of Zero."

Suddenly the rabbit was gone, little more than a blur of motion as it darted across Chaos's massive frame. Occasionally it could be seen for just a split second, holding a Tonberry's knife in its hand as it broke into gleeful peals of laughter. Each time it struck, there was a flash of brutal scarlet light and a sickening moist squelch as it stabbed its target over, and over, and over again.

When it was over, Zero III was sitting innocently on the floor, holding the bloody knife behind its back. "Gee willikers! How many times did I stab you? Five? Twenty? Three to the tenth power? Oh well," he giggled, his form starting to fade at long last. "Counting isn't my specialty. I'm just a rabbit. We're better...at multiplying..."

Zero III was gone. FUCKING FINALLY.
