Were his soul to become lost or broken, it could result in a very dangerous Hollow should this world parallel the rules of her own. But she didn't see it emerge, not yet. There was far too much spiritual turbulence in this place for her to locate him with her reiatsu.

But she did catch a faint pulse of Jade's reiatsu that drew her attention. Glancing back at him, he appeared calm and still, looking at their fellow Hero in studious silence. What had he done? Had it been noticed?
She walked across the platform to stand at his side, as she might have done naturally. But if his actions had been noticed and provoked an attack like the one that was just unleashed on Garland, she wanted to ensure that he was well protected.
