"Jaune, no!" Selphie cried as the boy jumped off the edge of the platform. She reached out with her hands to try and stop him but was too late. Why did it have to be like this?

She heard Yuri nearby contemplating the same thing and marched right over to him and gripped his right hand tightly in one of her own. She couldn't tell what was going through his head but Selphie knew that was at the forefront of his thoughts. She knew they had to get their friends back before anything happened to them but she was grasping at straws. She just knew that her friend would do anything to save them, no matter the cost or consequence.

"Yuri..." Selphie said quietly, looking up at him with an alarmed look. "We'll find another way but don't jump. We need you here."
