Mogington finally arrived with his glass of water and passed it to Angeal as he sat up. He downed it while Genesis and Sephiroth spoke and decided that it was better not to say anything until he felt that he was able to contribute to the conversation. It wasn't until the question was asked that he thought it the wiser not to get involved just yet while he was still catching his breath.
The last time they were in the same vicinity together didn't end well and it seemed that same could happen here as well. Angeal was bracing himself for the worst, just as he had often done in the past among other members of SOLDIER when some candidates and selectees were at odds.
He hadn't realized that his own eyes had turned a darker shade of blue from before when they used to be brighter and stood out. He noticed the hue in Sephiroth's eyes turned paler but he figured that was because of the morning sun hitting his friend's face at the right angle and hadn't thought much of it.
With his breathing at a more steady pace, he stood up and handed the glass back to Mogington with a nod and the moogle took the glass back and slipped it into his bag.
