"Yeah, the eyes." Sheena nodded towards the one closest to them. "It starts to glow when you get near it, and whether magic or not, it teleports you back here."

To demonstrate, she approaches it, and sure enough, glowing eyeball and ninja moved right back to a few feet behind her.

"See?" She looked around. "We somehow avoided them before--unless they weren't active until we set off one--or the monsters were let loose. Now, we just have to figure out how to move through." She smiled.

"And I have an idea."
