Ramza shook his head. "Not everyone would have," he disagreed. Not everyone could have; Sephiroth's escape had depended on great skill and strength. Ramza was not certain another Hero could have done what the swordsman had done and survived. But more than that, Sephiroth had stood unflinching against their enemy, had been injured in defense of a city not his own. That was something Ramza respected.

"You helped save a great many lives, and you did not allow yourself or those around you to be captured." His voice only wavered a little at the word 'captured'. He did not look at the other man. "I just....in spite of your injuries, you were fortunate. I am glad it is so. You are one of the strongest Heroes in this City, and we would ill afford to lose you."
