Her hands had never wanted to strike at vitals so violently, given that she was in the position to exploit his weakened state and put an end to the possibility of his madness wrecking havoc on the man she adored. The tiny voice of reason inside of her head tries to stand atop a wobbling chair, calling out above the crowd of reasons that tell her to end his existence in one fell swoop. Sephiroth, at least the one back in her time, had robbed her of what little family she had.. but what good would ending his life here do? He'd still be a menace back on Gaia, and death was never the answer.
Words passed down to her by Zagan echoed in her head amongst the din of conflictions.
".. Look. I've got it out for you, if you didn't already know. The sight of you makes me sick to my stomach. There's a lot of things that happen in Gaia that I can't begin to tell you, but-.." A deep breath. A pause to her explanation. "You aren't that man, and it isn't right for me to hold so much over you when we're in a world like this."
She jives a thumb towards the flowers. "A "get well" present. Cloud, he really looks up to you." Arms cross, her face becoming much more severe as brows narrow in to pierce his own gaze. "That's a lot of weight to carry, knowing that some one so young idolizes you. If you ever do anything to harm him, lead him astray, or point him in the wrong direction, I will have no problem ending you like the night robs the day of Sunlight, get me?"
There's a moment of hesitation before she extends an arm, offering her hand as a sign of peace despite how much of her doesn't want to. "There's no point in working against some one who is trying so hard to find a solution to our predicament here."
