She did tend to do that often and didn't really think of the consequences. It's a downfall to her overly friendly attitude. It wasn't intentional since, most people got random nicknames from her, though she did recognize his expression changing.

It seemed like she triggered something. It wasn't like the earlier conversation in which it was light hearted, though she's not quite sure. Well no matter, she supposed she'll understand it eventually. Though, he did seem a bit more firm on his response this time.

"Hmm...?" she eyed him, "Are you certain? I can leave it with the nurses if you don't want it now."

Despite that, she still offered out of her own volition. If he declined it again, she supposed it would be best to let him be but she'll probably still let the nurses give it to him as hospital food.
