Genesis' comment only made Sephiroth's scowl grow even further, curling his top lip up and deepening his frown. He didn't need to be reminded of the vicious words that had been spat out at him on that day in the main square over a crystallized girl he didn't even know. Considering all that had happened since his own arrival to Crystallis, it was quite enough for Sephiroth to deal with his own concerns regarding his state of being, within his own mind without having so many others also make it their business to exacerbate those same concerns.

He'd likely never forget how he had felt towards the Calamity that one time in the clearing when he'd been made to think differently, apparently under the control of some mystical black crystal. It was easy to make the connection between that and what Genesis were now trying to get him to understand and he didn't like that at all.

A few heavy moments passed and Sephiroth then let a further long drawn out breath out and down himself as he carefully leaned himself back against the pillows. A light headache were already starting to form behind his eyes -no surprise really, considering- and on it's heels came a renewed rush of the exhaustion that had sent him to sleep in the first place.
