He looked over Jade somewhat quizzically, not sure really that he wanted to believe that Esdham were even capable of shipping him back out to Aqures so soon after the battle. It meant one of two things, either it hadn't been that much of an attack -despite the scenes of chaos that he'd seen- or the Heroes intervention had tipped the scales a great deal more than he could have guessed it would.

And here he was taking up a space in an already crowded field clinic where they could heal other injuries quicker via magic and quickly turn the men around into the recovery effort. With that in mind it was little wonder why they'd make the effort to remove him from where he'd be more of a burden than a help. It stung just that little bit deeper at his pride to think of himself in that way and Sephiroth dropped his gaze from Jade once more, he felt ashamed of his accident in more ways than he cared to share.

"I think I've been asleep for long enough already. Could you-" He paused as a sharp spike of pain ignited deep in his cast and made him hiss sternly before he forced himself to continue. "-tell me of the state of Esdham?"
