His eyebrows lifted at the mention of Sephiroth and Angeal. He hadn't met those two, yet, but he made a mental note that the three were connected. He was glad that Cloud had people he knew, from home. That was a...thing that wasn't common, "Hey, that's good that you have people you know!"

Nodding to the last part, he chuckled. Well, hopefully they'd be meeting, again. While there was a part of him that was...just a bit hesitant to get close, there was also the part of him that truly liked having friends. He just...didn't want to get close to more people, only to wind up on another world where he had to start from scratch. Accepting the hand, he shook it, "You, too, Cloud!
