Associate. That's a good term. Both Kaji and Shinji tilt their heads at Luffy and Pakku's consuming of the stand. Good thing this is all free, because at the rate they're going through the food, this would be costing Luffy a pretty penny otherwise.

"Slow down, there," he advises, "they've got plenty. Not have a lot of food where you come from, or something?" Maybe not the most sensitive question, but Kaji is searching for an explanation for Luffy's behavior, at this point.

Kaji looks at the dismayed vendor at the stand, and just smiles and shrugs. Since Luffy is making short work of everything that is laid out, the vendor pulls a fresh kabob off the grill, and tries to hand it past Luffy over to Kaji.
