When the bowls arrive, each one is swallowed down at a healthy pace. While Luffy would normally wolf down everything sitting in front of him, this was certainly a meal that required time. Noodles, at least back home, were something to savor. The texture, the taste, the different ingredients; all of it would be lost if he didn't take the time to eat them normally.

Luffy finishes off the third bowl by setting it down, licking the broth from his lips as he turns to his new friend with a boisterous laugh.

"You weren't kidding! There are really good! You sure know good ramen, don'tcha'?"
