His head tilted to the side a bit, in curious thought. There had been festivals in Suna, but he never attended them. When he was younger, none of the other villagers wanted to be in his presence. So in return, he avoided all of them, despising large crowds because it meant there would be more judgmental eyes staring at him with hatred. And then, even after he grew older, there was always that lingering fear of rejection. His siblings had tried to convince him to go, but Gaara would simply claim he had work to complete. They wouldn’t be able to pry him out of his office, when he was stubborn to that level.
