"Kuuuu~po." The moogle gets Kaji's attention with a long hum. "I see..."

"A balance, lost. Once a side is taken, there is no turning back, and your true self will be revealed to the light."

Kaji sits up straighter, looking troubled at what the moogle is saying. This wasn't what he expected at all.

"Betrayal. And yet, you will see it coming. 'You're a little late, aren't you?' A shot. You will die, alone."

Something about the moogle's words sends a chill down Kaji's spine, and he takes a long, slow breath out. "Who? Who is it that kills me?"

"I see...kupo, I see..."

"...a black and white bird."

Kaji blinks, stunned, as the moogle's words take a second to kick in.

"PEN-PEN!?" He shouts in irritated disbelief, then shoots up to his feet and glares down at the moogle. "Listen here, you little fuzz-balled two-bit charlatan! I am not going to get killed by a penguin!"

Oh, and the little guy even had him going for a second, there....
