Ankh

He had spent nearly the entirety of his time in the company of his Moogle trying to swat the thing away and/or get it to stop talking. So far he hadn't seemed to deter her in the slightest, as she continued to flit about providing explanations for the festivities happening around them whether he asked about them or not. Every so often he would swat, and she would move aside from his swatting, and when he called her any various number of expletives or unkind words meant to be names, she would politely correct him, enunciating each syllable of her name as though he were illiterate and not calling her names on purpose.

This would be a long and trying partnership.

Fireworks

The only thing that Ankh is actually mildly interested in are the fireworks, after a day of swatting at Moogles and wearing himself out trying to find companions from his world. The sound startled him at first, and he mistook it for gunfire, flinching away and covering his head with his arms. When he opened his eyes to ascertain where the sound was coming from when it didn't stop in a reasonable amount of time, he noticed the explosions of color in the sky and turned toward them to stare. It was the only time through the entire day that the scowl vanished from his face, replaced by something a bit more curious.

Mogishi flapped her way up to perch on his shoulder, and for once he didn't swat her away.

"Fireworks," she explained. "To celebrate the Festival of Light. It'll be over, soon, but... This whole thing is for you and the others like you."

Now he swatted her away.

"Shaddap," he hissed, and stalked off in the direction of the Castle of Aqures to get a better look.

Anytime/Anywhere

At any given moment, you may be approached by a horrendously grumpy-looking man in Black Mage robes (and looking less than pleased about them) save for the hat. He had fairly promptly set the hat on fire upon its discovery. As he approached you, he shouted.

"Hey! I'm looking for someone." And he very clearly expected you to help.
