A part of him wouldn't mind watching players practice. Maybe he'd understand the game, better. Her excitement was almost contagious, and Luke was finding himself leaning forward as the game started. Leaning to the side to see around the person in front of him -- their arms were waving around, wildly, over their heads -- so he could get a better look, he blinked a couple of times. He didn't have a full grasp of the concept, but...he did know the basics, thanks to Ion.
There was an immediate shake of his head, when Yuna expressed her embarrassment. Letting out a laugh, he gestured to the side as he spoke, "Hey...feel free to cheer as much as you like! I doubt anybody, here, will look at you funny."
Nodding, he leaned back against his seat, looking up, "That's how it is at the coliseum. Watching the fights is nothing compared to...actually being down there, fighting the monsters, yourself. This blitzball stuff seems pretty amazing, though! I...wonder if I'd be any good at it," he started, before muttering, "I don't know how to swim, though, so...guess I'd have to learn how to do that, first."
Blinking, he caught sight of one of the players getting slammed into incredibly hard. Leaning forward just a bit in his seat, he watched them go somewhat limp. Brow tensing, he lets out the faintest sigh, "Man...They don't hold back, at all, do they?"
