Cloud hadn't run into many people from home yet, save for Angeal. He heard Genesis was here, and he saw Sephiroth at the party but hadn't yet worked up the courage to go and talk to his hero. Then there were the couple of people who recognized smaller things, like chocobos or kinds of creatures or things like that, but the locations they mentioned were not ones he remembered. It was strange.

Not as strange as the thing that Luke just said though, "All of the worlds? What do you mean? Has this sort of thing happened to you before?"
