The gravity of the area changed. Angeal wasn't going to pry or prode to change Sephiroth's mind, nor was he going to ask Sephiroth to fight with them. It wasn't his battle. Genesis was suffering, Angeal felt responsible, it was as simple as that, but the ripples had turned into tidal waves in the wake of that rationale. He was wrong to believe that he could change a damn thing. He lost his mother, his home, he had nothing left but Zack and Genesis.

He lowered his head with his eyes closed. It wasn't fitting to complain. Instead he listened to the words of the play. Each line was a spear aimed right at him. He had left Zack and Sephiroth in the crossfire between what was on the surface and what waited in the shadows. He knew better than to lecture. He was one to talk. A sardonic smile pulled and faded just as fast.

"I'm sorry." He believed so strongly that all of this was his fault. It was his birth father that started all of this mess by convincing Genesis and himself that the cure was hidden by Shinra. It was Angeal's responsibility to mend the fences.

"If it means anything to you, the fault is mine." If he carried the burden, maybe it would lessen the tension between the three. He shifted his weight to his other foot to lessen the pain but it was worse and he groaned softly. Just like his own physical discomfort that manifested into the emotional, he had to try.

Lester floated off without a word to his moggle co-worker. His stubby feet kicked at popcorn kernel lightly and watched it rock with each tap. His pale lavender body seemed to blend in with the shadows easily. He didn't feel like dancing.

Ever since he was with his assigned hero has been one emotional hit after another.
