She's a little taken aback. It hadn't even occurred to her that talking to someone in the hospital could be dangerous. Honestly she's still having trouble understanding why everyone thinks the man might not help them. Surely anyone would want to help save someone's life if they could. A small amount of her frustration shows in her voice.
