The Onion Knight returns to consciousness just in time to hear Yunalesca speak. Hitting that wall had hurt. He struggles to his his feet, glaring at Garland's retreating back. That coward. How many lives will he sacrifice to his ambitions?

Yeah, he was always kind of a jerk...

Ugh, he does not need any more input from that strange voice. No, he has to do something quick. The Legendary Onion Knight is not going to be defeated this easily. He can feel his limit break is powered up. From the injuries of his companions, theirs must be as well. Okay, one last strike, Melodies of Life, everyone's limit breaks. They might just stand a chance. But it's risky.


But if they can convince Yunalesca....

In an instant, his quick mind analyzes the situation and decides his course of action. The boy turns his attention to Yunalesca.

"You're wrong about that. Sorrow and pain have never made a prisoner of a true hero."

He takes a step forward, eyes blazing with determination.

"We've all lived through hardships and suffering. But I will never give in to despair. My pain and sorrow will become my strength!"

His next line is addressed as much to Garland as his henchman.

"Even if we can't save this world, I will fight with everything I have to protect the next one!"
