A few more procedures. That was all that they needed. And now all those chances they had, all the madness her children were now enduring for the sake of this world, all for naught?

She glared at the group as if they had been children of her own even as they could stand as enemies

"Every other plan has failed," the Librarian stressed each of those words, "Have none of you learned anything in these last years when we have seen this chrystallis infestation consume everything? This plan... it has not been tried before. That alone may be the only chance we have. For the sake of all that remains, let go of your recklessness, and let us do our job."

They were all obsessed with grudges, and the fairy tale of the Mantle that her kind had squandered upon and left them vulnerable to the Flood. Why had her children in other worlds commit the same mistake? Why were they so focused on fighting among eachother even now?

She hovered in front of Link, trying to stand between them -- she, the Scholar of thousands of years of life, between the goddess, her champion, and the tyrant, with the same eyes as if she had been one.

"I have seen worlds consumed and eaten. I have walked the edge of the Abyss. I have witnessed countless empires break before abominations to nature. I have seen the most courageous soldiers fall away in fear before, and now you are willing to go through this madness and end the only opportunity we may have now that nothing has worked?"

"You... are solely mistaken, if you believe I will let that happen again."
