The Silence would have been debilitating, if not for the Ribbon ability from Gwen's Gunner job that grants her immunity to status ailments. She isn't sure who all else got affected, but the spell washes over Gwen with no change. Unfortunately for Yunalesca, that gives Gwen the idea to try the tactic right back to her. It won't harm her, Gwen tells herself that, but maybe it will help this entire situation de-escalate.

"You're too strong to be this afraid! You've come this far, why? Why let yourself fall now?" Pointing out that even a spell isn't going to stop Gwen Cooper from trying to talk the situation down.
