Death, defeat and inevitable resurrection to name but a few of the experiences both had endured at one time or another in their past. A single difference being; Sephiroth was perhaps a little more desperate for his plan to succeed this time, having no such alternate solution. "But there will always be those left, to remember them. Which is equally important."
