Sparks stands there for a moment, quiet, arms folded. "Yeah, well...... I did go 'n join their police force. Reckon there ain't no sense in just sittin' around with nothing to do." He shrugs his shoulders, to indicate the uniform he was wearing, complete with regulation sword at his side. Boredom was a big of the reason Sparks had been so miserable here, but least now things were getting back on track.

"Bein' a hero here ain't as excitin' as ya'd think. No one knows what they're doin' when it comes to the Crystal, or what to even do with us in the meanwhile. The sooner we can hurry up 'n save the world or whatever, the sooner I can get back to Mars, doin' what I'm supposed to be doing." Sparks was no fan of Jessie, Wedge and Biggs after the Magitek facility incident. Clearly the Heroes were going to have to sort all this own on their own. "Guess it ain't all that different though. Even this place has got it's own weird version 'a robots, and even shapeshiftin' spies.

"Speakin' of the Force Galactic, reckon both me and Red suspect the Barkeep's got somethin' to do with us all endin' up here. Prob'ly tell us he can't bring us because he 'can't interfere' or whatever." That gets sarcastic airquotes to go with it. "I even tried sendin' a distress signal to the USSA, but this backwater planet's probably way outta their jurisdiction."
