An older man, dressed in flowing white and yellow robes, paced around the main temple room in a huff as a Moogle tried her best to keep up with him. Waking up in a strange place with strange clothes would normally not bother Barkeep, but somehow, somehow his powers were taken away. Gone was his method of returning home.
How was this possible? Did a cosmic energy being take him away in a fit of jealously, removing his powers for a cheap laugh? If he was the save the world, why take away the easier method of doing so? Who's going to look after the saloon? "Harriet's gonna worry herself half to death!" He exclaimed, not noticing Ventus sitting silently nearby.
"Mister-"
"I said, call me Barkeep," he replied in a calmer tone.
"Mister. I can't answer any of your questions, kupo." Her Hero just wouldn't shut up or even listen to her apologizes, so she had no obligation to call him that, in her opinion. "All I can do is explain what your crystal does and give you a tour of Crystallis."
"Well, takin' folks from their homes warrants plenty of explanation!" He spun on his heel to face her and threw his arms up in exasperation.
He was too absorbed in his own troubles to pay much attention to anything else in the temple.
