No, I didn't see them there... but as for what I'm familiar with, it's what I said before. The king of a world called Edolas developed a magic called 'Anima' that was designed to absorb magic from other worlds. It opened rifts in the sky, drawing people and places in and converting them into magical crystals called lacrima. The people I mentioned before... they can turn the lacrima back into what they were before.
