Oh, right, housing. Mograe mentioned that before, but Ven had put that out of his mind at the time. He would have to look into that soon if he didn't want to just sleep outside. Then again, he'd done that a few times.
Zelda's observation -- or the question, really -- caught him off guard, and under the weight of that look Ven struggled for a reply. It wasn't in his nature to lie, either, so he verbally stumbled for a few seconds.
"Oh -- uh -- well... That's... um -- not exactly? I mean -- I've never heard of a world like this, but -- I'm -- kind of used to -- seeing new places, yeah," he ended lamely. "And I'm... not even sure exactly where I was before I ended up here, so it's... not the most surprising thing for me, no."
And so it turned out that he didn't operate too well under pressure -- not when it came to things like this, anyway.
