A moment passed as Asbel's eyes fell to the girl he'd nearly knocked over, intent on making sure she was really all right before he moved on. And in that moment, disbelief and recognition suddenly warred it out on the man's face, his eyes going wide.

"Sophie?" Anyone listening who heard his voice crack on the second syllable probably needed to get their hearing checked. (Probably.)

"Weren't you l-looking for someone named Sophie, kupo?" Tern spoke up timidly.

"Yeah." Asbel hardly spared a nod for his companion, though, instead taking a step closer to Sophie, his shock giving way to a mixture of relief and inevitable worry.

"Where were you? I checked all over your room, but--" Asbel cut himself off with a shake of his head. That didn't matter. They definitely weren't in Lhant anymore. "It's--did you just get here? I'm so glad you're okay."
