"Oh. That's too bad," Ven mused, but he got over the fleeting disappointment quickly. Someone here had to have been awake when they were taken, so he would get that answer sooner or later. Having no munny to his name that he was aware of, Ven didn't look too closely at any of the candy himself; at the counter, however, Mograe graciously chimed in with a few gil, so Ven pocketed a few things for later with a word of thanks.

Back outside, he shook his head at Greg's question. "I don't think so. I was..." He paused, frowning slightly, but only one word came to mind and he said it without thinking: "I was home." After another moment, he shook off the thoughtful spell and smiled again. "But, hey! We're here now, right? That's what matters. So are you gonna head to Aqures, Greg?"
