Glancing past Meredy, Ven took in the house. It wasn't all that big compared to what he was used to (but then, few structures lived up to a castle), but it was nice, and he certainly wasn't criticizing. All the same, it was... odd, to think that he would be labeling this foreign building as home, at least for now.
He soon looked back to the girl in front of him, his curiosity showing. "A few months?" he echoed. "That sounds like a pretty long time to me." Not that he was the best person to ask about the concept of time, but all the same, that was a long period away from home and friends.
