Ventus got a heavy sign in reply. Maybe if he were younger and more adventurous, Barkeep would be eager to take a long walk to Trano Golsaucia, but as of his current state, he'd get exhausted and freeze partway though.

"And you expect us to walk all the way through the cold by ourselves," he said as he shook his head in disapproval. "Honestly, this is one of the worst welcoming committees I've ever seen."

He picked up his robes and used them as a makeshift cushion as he sat on the floor. If he had no other choice than to walk, he at least needed to rest before heading out. "You go on ahead, but leave with someone else in case you run into any trouble on the way. Maybe call someone to bring us a ride."

It was a good plan: have someone fit run over to the city and send someone to pick everyone up.
