Luckily for both Barkeep and Kite, Greg's boredom didn't reach the point where he would go off exploring the outside of the tavern, and his storytelling ventures were interrupted by the loud bang of the front door slamming open.

Annie stood dramatically in the middle of the frame, and several customers turned to see what inconsiderate person would make such a hullabaloo. The Moogle stood there for a minute scanning the crowd, and locked onto Barkeep's table. The Hero was still leaning back on his chair, but with one eye opened in her direction.
"There you are," he said and stood up. "Now we can start headin' out."
"I've been looking all over Trano Golsaucia for you, kupo!" She wan't shouting, but it was clear she would have if they weren't in a crowded eatery. "Don't run off like that without telling me!" She plodded over to his table, taking deliberate steps.
"Sorry about worryin' you," he dismissed her. "I'll go get Greg and we can be on our way."
