Gardening (Birthdays) – before meeting
Zelda was digging in the dirt with an apron pulled tightly around her waist to stop the earth from marring her bright yellow dress. Sweat matted wisps of hair to the back of her neck while most of the golden strains were pulled back. Her hair hung over her right shoulder spooling on the ground. She sat on her knees with a collection of flowers to her right and gardening tools to her left.
She would dig a hole and then gently place the flowers within the hold of the warm earth. She was grateful for the sun which glowed happily over head but the day became dreadfully hot as she worked. Zelda had sent out a few letters to those who wanted to help her. These flowers would make up the garden next to the observatory. It was something small but it was something that she could do to brighten the day.
Zelda thought about her birthday as she worked knowing that it would be approaching soon. She didn't know the exact date in this world but it would be around this time. It didn't seem right to celebrate with so much going on.
Studying – after the meeting
Zelda wasn't the best fighter and she had already promised to stay behind and keep an eye on things at the observatory. She did what she thought she could do best which was study. There were at least a dozen books scattered across the large table that had been placed in the meeting room with Zelda glancing at each one before writing more notes in her journal.
She had taken notes at the meeting and now she stared over each piece of information and each theory trying to piece the puzzle together. There was a large world map further down the table with red 'x's' on a few places and a large purple circle which can only be assumed to be the growing crystals.
Zelda tucked a lose strain of gold behind her ear while her bright blue eyes scanned over the pages. If someone were to come in closer to midnight they might find Zelda asleep with her head resting within her arms and her pen falling from her fingers tips.
Cooking – for any who wanted to cook
With so many offering to help, the observatory was being repaired quickly. She didn't need to spend as much time there even though she was there most days anyway. Zelda had stopped by that morning and since everything was in place she would spend the afternoon cleaning and cooking. The house was mostly clean with laundry hanging out front to dry.
She quickly fussed around the kitchen trying to get it ready for her students and guests. There were plates and everything they might need littered across the kitchen table while vegetables and meats were collected on the counter. Everything they would need to make a basic curry stew.
Now Zelda just had to wait for her students to arrive.
