If he moved far enough he would find homes but they didn’t feel safe under the looming shadow that Maduin presented. The soldiers around him continued to fire as Terra’s father unleashed a torrent of energy. Everyone around him fell and while it might not have hit the pair as Vincent moves them away he can feel the energy of the spell dispersing outward and heading towards them. It was weaker with each yard it traveled but it would still hit them with a jarring force.

Terra looked up at Vincent one of her bright blue eyes turning to a startling glowing red as her body slowly transformed. Her feet and hands turned to claws and the delicate girl he once held was soon gone. In its place was something far more primal. Power pulsed from Terra having only learned of her linage she couldn’t control her Esper form.

When Maduin’s wave of power hit them it clashed with her powers causing an explosion that ripped Terra from Vincent’s grip. Her body slammed against the ground though that didn’t stop her from slowly rising to her feet. Blood trickled down her side but the wound quickly healed it’s self as Maduin approached.
