Zelda’s eyes widened at his comment and she felt her heart reach out towards her friend. She didn’t think as she stepped forward wrapping her arms around Luke and pulling him close. She hoped to shatter the illusion while holding him close.

She was shorter than him and so her head rested on his shoulder as she tried to stop the tears that threatened the corner of her eyes. “You aren’t alone.” The words were whispered and perhaps too soft to be herd but she wasn’t going to leave her friend in pain. She wasn’t going to do nothing as the memory twisted itself to torture Luke. She was there for him, they were friends and she wasn’t going anywhere unless he was with her.

It might be selfish but she didn’t want to let go and she prayed to the goddess of the past that she might have a way to clear his sight.
