Ramza nodded, glad Zelda knew of what he spoke. "Yes, Lord Cid said the device is a laser," he stated. He frowned.

"A laser is a light-based attack...I think. So you think mirror mail would reflect it?" He had seen such armor turn away powerful magic attacks. It had not occurred to him that lasers might be reflected as well.

He smiled at Zelda. "It is worth looking into, at the least. If we could eliminate that threat, we could safely place more Heroes on the front line to defend against the Empire."
