[Aqures Ixen Hospital]

[ Her body felt still, heavy, and constrained. Her mind addled as she began to come to, the first thing Aerith felt was restless, then a sudden, overwhelming surge of adrenaline. Her heart pounded in her ears, and she felt her lungs spasm, forcing her to take a deep, gasped breath. Her body felt stiff, like she had slept in an odd position overmuch, and the world quickly began to flood in, roaring in her ears and assaulting her other senses. ]

Wh...

[ Her voice felt dusty, like she hadn't used it in quite some time, and her throat was dry. She choked a bit on her words, coughing as they caught in her throat. She felt terrible. ]

Hello?

[ Noticing just what sort of place she found herself in, Aerith had no inclination to stay. She was smart enough to be able to put two and two together, however. She was like one of those people there, encased in crystal, and, quite frankly, she didn't want to think about that at the moment. Finding people was her first priority so, quietly excusing herself, she began to wander. Surely someone would be around, right? ]

[Aqures Ixen]

[ It was surprising how calm and collected everyone was, considering that there was a full-blown evacuation in effect. It was a bit chilling, really. There was no mass hysteria, no confusion or rebellion; even after Amaryllis filled her in on the details, the flower girl was skeptical.

Still, Amaryllis was not much of a talker, which meant that her best bet to find anything out would be asking the locals. Seeing someone she thought might be willing to speak to her, Aerith reached out and tapped their shoulder, withdrawing her hand and giving them a bright smile. ]

Excuse me, can you help me out?
