Jack glances over at the woman, and at first, he doesn't recognize her, so he looks her over carefully, until he listens distinctly to her voice. James? Right. Right right. There's a quick widening of Jack's eyes as he gets it, and then tries to cover his reaction right up. Kidd might not be as comfortable out of dress, so don't call any attention to it.

Jack nods at him. "I read a spike in energy," Jack turns the screen of the device so he can see it. Hmm, how to explain to someone from so far back in time? "It was a buildup, like the Crystal was getting brighter, but it's the same kind of energy that I've seen before used to travel through time. Normally, I would have expected some kind of hole to rip open, pull us in like a whirlpool. But that didn't happen."

"I've got to look for that sort of energy again, or we need to find the Crystal." Jack frowns a little. "I think."
